My colleagues tried to warn me not to use cream or beige with baby bedding sets, but as usual, I decided to ignore their suggestion. If something is not fashionable, it"s only because nobody has ever managed to present it as attractive. This is why I decided to design some cot mattress sets and present them to my colleagues and the manager. I thought that the bedding sets should look rather traditional. Perhaps I might combine modern design with old-fashioned motifs? Then a brilliant idea crossed my mind. Why not make embroidered baby bedding? Why not create something that brings to mind our own childhood, but make it fresh, inspiring, more up-to-date? I contacted some embroidery artists who helped me create motifs that could be embroidered on a child"s bedding set. We finally limied our desing to three main themes: nautical, animal and sea world. Then I ordered some best quality beige cotton and had the first three sets made. To my surprise, my colleagues were impressed by my cot mattress sets. They had expected that the sets would rather look dull, but they were wrong! I hope our customers like the new design. The sets will be available at our shops in April this year.
